How do I book?
Send your dates, number of travelers, preferred destination and interests through the booking page, WhatsApp or email. We will discuss the route, accommodation style and itinerary before confirming the trip.
Can my safari be customized?
Yes. Our Southern Tanzania safaris are tailor-made. We can adjust the number of days, destinations, activities, accommodation level, pace and focus on wildlife, birdwatching, photography or culture.
When is the best time to visit Tanzania?
June to October is generally a strong period for dry-season wildlife viewing. November to May brings greener landscapes and can be excellent for birdwatching, while rainfall varies by region and season. We recommend choosing dates around the experience you want most.
What are Tanzania's seasons and weather like?
The dry months are usually warm and easier for game viewing, while the wetter months bring greener scenery and seasonal bird activity. Short rains commonly occur around November–December and longer rains around March–May, although conditions vary.
Do I need a visa?
Most international visitors need a visa. Requirements depend on nationality, so check the current Tanzanian immigration guidance or your nearest Tanzanian mission before travel. Make sure your passport meets the required validity conditions.
Do I need a yellow fever certificate?
A yellow fever vaccination certificate may be required if you arrive from, or have recently transited through, a country where yellow fever is a risk. Check the current entry requirements for your route and carry your certificate if required.
What travel insurance should I have?
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended, including medical care, emergency evacuation and trip cancellation/interruption. Make sure your policy covers the activities you plan to do.
What should I bring on safari?
Bring light, comfortable clothing, a warm layer for early mornings, closed shoes, sun protection, insect repellent, personal medication, a reusable water bottle, binoculars and a camera. Neutral outdoor colors are useful for wildlife viewing.
What currency and languages are used?
The Tanzanian Shilling is the local currency, while US dollars are widely used in tourism. Swahili is the national language and English is widely spoken in tourism and business settings.
What time zone is Tanzania in?
Tanzania uses East Africa Time (EAT), UTC+3, throughout the year and does not observe daylight saving time.
How are payments handled?
Your booking confirmation will state the payment schedule and accepted method. The booking conditions page explains the deposit, balance and cancellation framework used for confirmed bookings.
Do you offer birdwatching?
Yes. Birdwatching is one of our key interests. We can plan dedicated birding trips around wetlands, rivers, woodland and forest habitats in Southern Tanzania, with the route shaped around your target species and season.
Can families travel?
Yes, many Tanzania experiences can work well for families. Tell us the ages of the travelers so we can recommend suitable activities, driving times and accommodation.
