Founder & Story
The person behind Birds & Environment Safaris.
Gregory Njau
Gregory Njau is a Tanzanian tourism professional with hands-on experience in tourism since 2014, including professional tour guiding, hospitality, tourism operations and direct guest service. That background gives him a practical understanding of what guests need before, during and after a safari.
Since 2014, Gregory has worked with travelers from different backgrounds and learned that a successful safari is not only about seeing wildlife. It is about clear communication, good planning, realistic expectations and making every day of the journey feel worthwhile.
Gregory brings that experience into every guest conversation, from the first inquiry to the final day. He can explain the differences between destinations, help match a safari to a traveler's interests and keep the planning personal rather than one-size-fits-all.
His particular strength is Southern Tanzania, including Ruaha National Park, Nyerere National Park, Mikumi National Park and the Udzungwa Mountains, while Northern Tanzania, Zanzibar and cultural experiences are available as additional tailor-made services.
Through Birds & Environment Safaris, the goal is to help visitors discover Tanzania in a way that is memorable, respectful and connected to nature.
